Rio Ferdinand Foundation

On the 11th of December 2015 the Rio Ferdinand Foundation delivered a Football and Employability event at Trafford Power League in Greater Manchester.

The event brought employers and young people together to discuss work experience opportunities and employment options in a fun environment with the added bonus of a 5-a-side football tournament!!!

It was a great pleasure for the Response First team to be a part of this event and being their First Aiders for Football and Employability programme, it was a great to see this rising stars doing what they do best and we look forward to providing future support to The Rio Ferdinand Foundation.

Leone and Helen also took part as First Aiders and they enjoyed talking to the boys and getting to know about the project and said “it was inspiring to see the RFF doing such great work for the community”

The Rio Ferdinand Foundation’s mission is to inspire and enable young people to reach their potential by providing education and employment pathways.

Our vision is to create confident and skilled young people able to tap into their talents to build a brighter future.
