Rio Ferdinand Foundation

The Rio Ferdinand Foundation strives to support young people aged 11-25. Our mission is to create positive opportunities using education, sports and the arts.Through our programmes, we encourage youth leadership and develop peer role models so together we can address a number of important personal, social and economic issues. Our role models go on to inspire other young people, helping them to build a brighter future, not only for themselves but also for their local communities. We support young people by offering free accredited qualifications and finding relevant pathways for them including work placements, further training or paid employment.Our aspiration is to work with more inspirational young people, to showcase their achievements and to celebrate their successes together. The Polish Saturday School in Manchester

Response First are now partners for delivering First Aid Training to The Saint Stanislaw Kostka Polish Saturday School in Manchester, was founded in November 1949 by Polish Ex-Servicemen’s Association and is one of the oldest Polish supplementary schools in the UK. The first headteacher was Mrs Olga Trybuchowska, who served for 36 years until 1985. The current headteacher is Mrs Danuta Antonik who was appointed in 2013 and is herself a graduate of the school.
